Back to the garden and back to basics with Whispering Rain. Synchronicity brought together a cast of talented musical friends. At spontaneous sessions they blended their gifts with Prince’s voice, Acoustic Guitar and Harmonica. Oool Fjolkunnigr’s fingers dance on Mandolin, Flute, and Piano. Ian Van Wyck grooves on Double Bass. Calvin Cairns and Marcel Nokony shine on Violin. Notably soulful are Tara MacLean’s supporting vocals. Some of Prince’s songs are born in dreams; sometimes his words and music come whispering on the wind and rain.
